In our day and age more and more parents are busier than ever. It makes it so difficult to stay involved in your child's school activities and learning. The school is always trying to find new ways to make communication with parents easier.
One of the ways the school has adopted to communicate with parents is the LUMENS online gradebook system. Did you know that with LUMENS you can check your child's grades, see their lunch account balances, check on absentee, and contact teachers? All parents should have received login information when the program first began 2 years ago, however many parents do not know how to use the program.
The fifth grade teachers would like to know how many parents would come to a "LEARNING LUMENS" night where we show you how to utilize this program to it's fullest. If we get enough parents interested, we can schedule a date ASAP.

Back to School and Homework Time
Hello 5th grade parents!!!!
With the new school year comes the task of getting your child back into certain routines. One of those routines is "HOMEWORK TIME". What are some procedures or tips you can offer each other to help with getting your children back into the routine of making sure their homework is not only completed correctly, but also turned in on time?
